Class Management EDU 973

Classroom Management in a Technology Equipped Classroom

Eduspire’s courses are offered by Wilson College as individual 3-credit graduate-level courses, and most courses can also be taken as part of the Master of Educational Technology (MET) degree program.

Classroom management is something that all teachers feel they can improve on, especially when it comes to student use of technology. Technology can help teachers enhance their classroom management, but can also cause unwanted distractions. Topics covered in this course will include strategies, tools, and expectations of managing a technology driven classroom.

In this course learners will explore different strategies and applications to implement in the classroom to add to your classroom management toolbox. Course takers will explore techniques to successfully manage student behavior in the classroom and when on devices. Participants will collaborate together on ways to integrate successful classroom management techniques with devices in the classroom.

*This course will only count toward an Elective requirement for those in the MET program.*
